A burner that will not light, ignition that clicks without stopping, or a flame gone yellow and lazy. We repair gas and electric cooktops and professional rangetops across Fort Worth and Keller. Most of what goes wrong lives underneath, so the unit comes out of the counter — and on stone that is part of the quote from the start, not a surprise at the end.

A short description is enough to send someone out prepared. We come back with a time, not a sales call — and the $69 diagnostic comes off the repair.
Our actual price for that symptom, against what replacing really costs once tax, delivery, installation and haul-away are counted. How it works →

These are the cooktop and rangetop faults we handle most across Fort Worth — gas and electric. We quote the exact cost before any work begins, with the $69 diagnostic applied to the repair.
Usually the spark electrode for that burner or its own ignition module. Often a same-visit fix. $180–$280.
When every burner is out together the fault is upstream — the supply or the shared module rather than any single burner. $195–$320.
Nearly always moisture or something spilled that has found its way under the top. Sometimes a strip-down, clean and dry-out; sometimes a module has been damaged. $165–$320.
Burner ports, a cap sitting crooked, or the air mix. A yellow flame is incomplete combustion, worth correcting rather than living with. $150–$240.
The valve. It stays on full however far you turn the knob, which makes anything slow impossible to cook. $180–$295.
On electric cooktops, usually the element or its receptacle, sometimes the switch. We test before replacing — a burnt receptacle takes out a new element within weeks.
On a sealed gas top that points at the valve stem or the switch behind it. The click you normally hear tells us a great deal about which.
The most common story we hear. Boil-overs run straight down the burner wells into the ignition wiring below, and the top has to come out before anyone can see the damage.

Seeing a code on the display? We diagnose the fault behind it rather than clearing it and hoping.
Yes — gas, electric and dual-fuel. Electrodes, spark modules, valves, burner service and ignition wiring. Drop-in cooktops and professional rangetops both.
Almost always moisture or a spill that has reached the ignition circuit under the top. Sometimes a strip-down, clean and dry-out fixes it; sometimes a module has been damaged. It runs $165–$320, and you get the figure before we start.
Usually not — $180–$280. It is normally that burner's own electrode or spark module, and it is often a same-visit fix.
For most faults, yes — nothing underneath is reachable with it in place. On a stone counter the silicone bead has to be cut and the stone protected, which adds $50–$70. That is in the quote from the start, not added later.
It does. A yellow flame is incomplete combustion rather than a cosmetic problem. Usually blocked ports, a burner cap sitting crooked, or the air mix. $150–$240.
No — and please do not wait for us. Leave the house, do not touch light switches, and call your gas utility from outside. They come free and fast. A gas leak is their work, not a repair call.
Samsung, LG, GE, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Bosch, Jenn-Air, Maytag and the rest. High-end rangetops such as Thermador, Wolf, Dacor and Monogram as well, though those sit outside the ranges above.
Andrew was amazing---yes, simply amazing. We have a GE Double Oven that showed a F35 Code. I went online, saw how to fix it, got the control board, replaced it… and the same code!! I gave up and called him by his google reviews (all 5 star). He came, diagnosed and put a new board in the oven… and we got the same F35 Code. I resigned that the oven was now scrap. He went home and studied the manual, yes actually study the manual. He figured out that the oven had the control boards switched because a place with a capacitor that was suppose to have 6 pins had 7. He investigated this detail, got the other board, came back and replace the actual defective board. IT is FIXED and not on the way to the dump. I have never had person due that much work to solve the problem. He added nothing to the overall cost and was happy he was able to fix it.
