French-door, InstaView, four-door and side-by-side LG refrigerators. Not cooling, no ice, dispenser dead, frost on the back wall — we find what actually failed before anyone mentions a new fridge.

LG four-door French-door refrigerator from one of our service calls.
Most LG refrigerators we see in DFW are French-door and four-door models with an ice and water dispenser.
Including the knock-to-see glass door and door-in-door models.
French doors on top, two freezer drawers or a convertible drawer below.
With through-the-door ice and water.
The simpler LG models, same cooling basics.
Fan, defrost failure, control issue, or in some cases the linear compressor.
Ice packed in the compartment, a frozen fill tube, water valve or fan.
Dispenser board, door switch, ice chute door or a frozen water line.
The defrost system stopped working and the evaporator is icing over.
A fan hitting ice, the condenser fan, or the ice maker.
The center mullion flap on French doors stops sealing and lets warm air in.

Look for frost on the back wall of the freezer and write down the temperatures on the display.
Check the ice bin for a frozen block and that the ice maker is switched on.
Yes. We repair LG French-door, InstaView, side-by-side, four-door and bottom-freezer refrigerators across Fort Worth, Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, North Richland Hills and the rest of north Tarrant County.
Sometimes, but not always. A warm LG is often a fan, an iced-over evaporator from a defrost failure, or a control issue, and those are much smaller repairs. We test before anyone talks about a compressor.
LG covers the linear compressor part for ten years from the original purchase date on many models. Labor is not included, so you would pay for the repair work but not the compressor itself. Have your purchase date handy and we will check it.
Common causes are ice packed in the ice compartment, a frozen fill tube, a water valve, or a fan in the ice section. We find which one before replacing anything.
Yes. The usual suspects are the dispenser control board, a door switch or the ice chute door mechanism. We open the dispenser and test each part.
